Dr. Gupta - Founder of Curious And Creative Lab

I am Dr. Shilpi Gupta, a Research Scientist with a background in Cancer Biology and Innate Immunology. I specialize in Science and Health Communication, Writing, and Education. 

I have published in peer-reviewed high impact factor journals like Cancer Research, Journal or Biological Chemistry, Translational Research, Scientific Reports, Nature Communications, etc. 

In 2021, I transitioned from active wet-lab research to concentrate on Science and Health Communication. I have conducted Healthy Aging workshops for various organizations, including the Older Adult Centres’ Association of Ontario, Caledon Public Library, Toronto Council on Aging, Circle of Care (Sinai Health), Vaughan Public Library, North York Seniors Centre,  Seniors Persons Living Connected, St Demetrius Development Corporation, Central Eglington Community Center, Flemingdon Health Center, Canadian Association of Retired Persons (CARP)- Mississauga. 

My commitment to engaging with the community and sharing knowledge allows me to contribute meaningfully to the promotion of science and its practical applications. In 2023, I authored a book titled 'Empowering Aging: Insights from Healthy Aging Series' for adults and seniors to help them in their aging journey.
